When picturing a dreamy vacay in Fiji, a boujee resort tends to spring to mind but did you know there are a whole bunch of next-level Airbnbs in Fiji too? Some are within the resorts we know and love, others are a totally private experience. Whether you’d like to stay in Nadi, Suva, Denarau Island, Vanua Levi, Taveuni, The Mamanuca Islands or the Yasawa Islands, there’s something for you.

From stunning honeymoon destinations to eco retreats, super swish villas and spots perfect for the whole family, Fiji’s Airbnb game is strong.

Without further ado, here are the best Airbnbs in Fiji.

Slide into the massive infinity pool at Villa 93 on the edge of the canal and be spellbound by the view of The Sleeping Giant mountains beyond. The villa (pictured), which is located on the up-and-coming area Naisoso Island has five master bedrooms, an open plan kitchen and living space and a private outdoor shower. It’s an eight-minute drive to Nadi central and two minutes away from Nadi International Airport.

This light, gorgeously styled treetop apartment has everything you need to feel right at home in Nadi. With a newly renovated modern kitchen and Netflix, and local nightlife spots just a short walk away, you’ll get the best of both worlds at this Quaint Roof Apartment whether you’re in the mood to party or have a cosy night in. Foodies will delight in digging into the tasty dishes at world-renowned Chef Lance Seeto’s Kanu Restaurant.

For resort vibes in 100 acres of private tropical bliss dive right into this Luxury Pool Villa at Vudu Point. Boasting a 270-degree panoramic view of Nadi Bay, which can be enjoyed while soaking in the stunning infinity pool, a private chef who can whip up a Fijian Lovo feast and a yoga instructor who can take you through a gentle morning flow there’s no doubt this is one of the best Airbnbs in Fiji. And, as if it couldn’t get better, this villa is party-friendly so you can share the love (or keep it all to yourself).

Sitting in the suburb of Domain, the gorgeous Denison Cottage (pictured) with intriguing architecture and beautiful wooden floors is a solid find. A short walk to local attractions like the Fiji Museum, Thurston Gardens and the Suva Foreshore, and a short trip to Suva central, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Speaking of, if you’re keen for a night on the town there’s a housekeeper who lives off the back of the property who’s able to babysit, as needed. All the usual amenities are covered including a full laundry, BBQ grill and a garden which wraps around the house.

Located in the social hub of Suva this welcoming Garden Apartment has a lovely queen-sized bed, blackout curtains and aircon for the most rejuvenating sleeps. Wander around the nearby suburbs or relax in the garden—the perfect spot for a cheeky sundowner after a day of bliss. There’s a kitchenette, tropically-inspired bathroom, and even a kitted-out workspace if you’re needing to keep an eye on emails while you’re in paradise. You’ll be greeted by two friendly, energetic dogs, Sky and Bolt, upon arrival.

Also in Domain is this stunning 1940s Abode fit for the whole family. The feel is modern with hints of colonial Fiji. High ceilings, French doors, and several living spaces—both indoors and outdoors—create a spacious, relaxed setting after a day well-spent exploring the city. The home is perched above a three-bedroom apartment and the pool is shared with these residents and the kindergarten next door who use it for swimming classes—precious.

Set on a slice of beachfront paradise this Two Bedroom Suite With Garden View (pictured) at Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau this Airbnb is perfect for families and family-friendly couples and is a short twenty-minute ride from Nadi International Airport via private shuttle. Built around a fantastic series of heated lagoon-style pools (one of which is adults only) and lush gardens you’ll feel yourself relax as soon as you arrive. While away the hours with a cocktail in hand, get amongst the various water sports on offer and dine on delicious world cuisine at one of the many on-site restaurants. Can’t decide? The Lebanese-inspired Byblos is next level.

Revel in Fiji Time at this Beachfront Resort Condo on popular tourist destination Denarau Island. Fully equipped with just about everything you could ever need—from massive beds and air conditioning to water sports equipment, a beauty and massage centre, an on-site kids club and a swim-up bar all you need to do is relax. Work up a sweat in the gym, feel all your cares melt away in the hot tub, take a dip in the pool or take to the ocean. The condo includes a full kitchen not that you’ll be in need of it with the delicious resort restaurant on your doorstep.

Drop-dead gorgeous, just the photos of this mountainside honeymoon villa with 270-degree panoramic views of the ocean are enough to melt away any stress. One of the best Airbnbs in Fiji for honeymooners, KOKO Savusavu Ocean View Pool Honeymoon Villa is the pinnacle of rural luxury. Beautifully designed and utterly secluded it features a cliff-top infinity swimming pool, curtained four-poster king bed and plenty of adventure. Inspired breakfasts and dinners can be prepared by your very own personal chef and there’s a masseuse on speed dial for extra R&R. Do note access is via an exhilarating mountain road that’s best paired with a 4WD (and a savvy driver).

A stone’s throw from one of Savusavu’s best beaches, The Seahorse Bungalow (also known as ‘SigaSiga’ which means ‘sunshine’ in Fijian) is a charming place to stay. Backed by a Forest Reserve, with plenty of hiking, and a short walk from swimming and snorkelling lagoons, plus a super friendly little dog that lives on-site, this is a Fijian paradise that won’t break the bank. Brimming with culture, your stay includes cooking and coconut milk and oil-making lessons. Explore SigaSiga township being sure to pop into the popular oceanfront Copra Shed for a bevvy and banter with the locals.

For a tranquil escape a little closer to town, Lewa’s Loft is a great pick. The luxe hill-topped homestead comes with ocean views and an abundance of living spaces and decks, and a large pool. A fully equipped chef kitchen complete with blenders and the all-important espresso machine, allow large-scale relaxed dinner parties, professional massages can be booked, there’s a private gym, and tropical fruit—pineapples, coconuts, paw paws, bananas, lemons and limes—are self-serve from the property’s garden. Score.

Live it up in a gorgeous off-grid luxury eco villa (pictured). Enjoy a modern kitchen complete with a blender for those green smoothies, kick back in twin hammocks surrounded by lush rainforest, and make use of the yoga mats. Sunrise vinyasa anyone? Inspired by nature the decor features wooden flooring, a stone basin and spearmint accents. Vakanananu Resort’s large covered deck is the perfect spot for watching the sunset, cocktail in hand. Bicycles, kayaks and snorkelling equipment are included, as is a cooked breakfast, daily housekeeping and airport transfers. Perfect.

For a beach getaway with less of the frills but all of the heart The Pineapple House, in popular Matei, could be just the place. With breathtaking views of the SomoSomo Strait, a giant backyard and a white sandy beach practically at your front door, this solar-powered sanctuary is modest but absolutely memorable. While the house has wifi it only has cold water so if you’re after a boujee vacay this might not be for you. That said, massages, meals and laundry can be handled by the owners leaving you to unwind and fully embrace Fiji Time on the beach.

No expense has been spared in this swish mid-century villa on a private 100-acre coconut plantation. Fully staffed with a cook, housekeepers and groundskeepers, all that’s left to do is bliss out. The Grand Villa is beautifully furnished with locally grown tropical hardwood floors, a massive pool, views for days and an outdoor shower. Explore the plantation or curl up on a lounger with a good book. This exquisite slice of paradise is a 40-minute taxi ride from Matei Airport.

A Malolo Island gem, and hands down one of the best Airbnbs in Fiji is Vale-I-Yata. The waterfront property (pictured and main article image above) is quintessentially Fijian with a relaxed, welcoming vibe that’ll have you feeling like you’ve landed on Cloud Nine. Spend a while soaking in the infinity pool, taking in the stunning views of the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands, wander through the tropical gardens or take the kayaks out for a spin. To get to this dreamy abode, board the Malolocat Ferry from Port Denarau Marina. A transfer will pick you up from the first stop—Plantation Island Resort—and whisk you away to paradise.

Villa Malolo is a private waterfront island home ten minutes from Musket Cove Fiji. The minimalist, white concrete villa is super spacious and faces the sunset, with views of the nearby lagoon and neighbouring islands. It’s unparalleled luxury amidst tropical gardens. Relax in one of the many living spaces and pools, pop over to Musket Cove for activities galore and live the good life. Villa Malolo is accessible via boat ride from Denarau Port, helicopter from Nadi Airport and water taxi from Denarau.

Natabe Retreat (pictured) is a private beachfront home in a secluded coconut grove on Tavewa Island. While able to accommodate up to six guests, if a couple books this Airbnb the other two rooms get blocked out ensuring a private stay. All meals are included and prepared by your hosts using fresh local produce and seafood caught nearby and the property is entirely solar-powered. The fastest way to get to Natabe Retreat is via a 35-minute seaplane flight but there’s also the option of taking a half-day island cruise from Port Denarau Marina in Nadi if you’ve got a bit of time up your sleeve.

While we love a good luxury Fijian escape, village life is a cultural immersion like no other so if this is the sort of experience you’re looking for, Nabuya Lodge is a great option. The beachfront, family-run hotel on Nacula Island has loads of activities you’ll want to get amongst, from swimming with sharks to traditional Fijian cooking classes, guided kayaking and island massage to a hand-line fishing trip and a guided visit to a local Fijian village. All food is provided and the bures are equipped with free wifi, a ceiling fan and mosquito nets.

What better way to experience Fiji than by staying in a traditional Treetop Bure at the boutique Nanuya Island Resort? Located on the sunset side of Nanuya Lailai Island you have the pick of white sandy beaches, a boujee day spa and a blue lagoon more than worthy of the ‘Gram. As for island adventures a visit to Sawa-I-Lau Caves is a must. The ancient limestone formations, carved out by ocean waves, are said to be the home of the 10-headed ancient Fijian god, Ulutini. Caves aside you can swim with manta rays, kayak and snorkel to your heart’s content. Yes, please.
